Episode Three: The Players

The Players examines how the House of Representatives fulfils one of its most important roles: representing the wishes and needs of the Australian people. Focusing on the history of women’s relationship to the House, the episode questions the nature of true representation. Should the composition of the House mirror that of Australian society, or does representation depend upon the relationship between individual Members and the voters?
