Presented in four half-hour episodes, the A House for the Nation documentary assesses the House’s past and asks what the House should become in the future.

Using archival images and audio, expert commentary and the perspectives of past and present Members of the House, each episode explores one issue that has shaped the House of Representatives.

Produced by the Department of the House of Representatives, in association with the Department of the Parliamentary Reporting Staff, the A House for the Nation documentary is narrated by AFI award-winner Rachael Blake (Lantana) and features original music by Ruth Lee Martin (ANU School of Music).
