Chamber Clocks

What are the clocks for on the walls of the Chamber?

The electronic clocks on the side walls of the Chamber are used to time Members’ speeches. The Deputy Clerk sets the clock to show the time available for each speech. The hands of the clock count down the time remaining. A yellow light on the clock face goes on when there is only one minute of speaking time left.
